Taught to sew on my Grandmother’s knee since the age of three, it’s not surprising that I’ve ended up owning a fabric shop!

Always interested in sewing, baking and crafts in general, it was patchwork that took my attention when I was 14 years old and I have been passionate about making quilts ever since!

With a Diploma in Nursing, a BSc degree in Midwifery, a City and Guilds Certificate in Soft Furnishings and two wonderful young daughters already in tow, I opened the doors to Love Stitching in September 2012 and haven’t looked back!

Another qualification has since followed in August 2016 when I gained my City and Guilds Certificate in Patchwork and Quilting and I am delighted to be able to pass on my skills and knowledge to our ‘Love Stitching Ladies’ who chose to shop, sew and learn with us here.

Our shop is a happy and relaxed wee place where lots of sewing, chatting and caring goes on!

We also have an e-commerce website where you can buy stunning fabrics from my trusted suppliers Makower UK and Moda.

Why not pay our site a quick visit at http://www.lovestitching.co.uk where you can enjoy viewing our large ranges of patchwork fabrics and become part of our strong ‘Love Stitching’ community by subscribing to our monthly e-newsletter.

I trust you enjoy joining me as I share lots of ‘behind the scenes’ info, design sketches, patchwork ideas, chat and more!
